what I do with discord is get one of those fork clients, put it all in folders. exit every conversation, and get a hideous design (pios) or put it in white mode. you won't open it if davinci or fl is in dark mode

higher resolution is for bigger monitors/tabs 1080/2K looks good on 22-25 inch monitors then 2.5K (1440p) looks good on 27 inch inch, 1080 on 27 inch on a regular distance looks blurry and pixelated while 1440 looks sharper

I’m an artist and writer my family is surprisingly very supportive of my writing. After going to an author event in my area I just realized how much I missed writing and drawing my characters,my settings, it used to be hard to stop writing but now it’s just like you said I pick up UA-cam or go to discord! I wrote a whole 13 chapters books in 7th grade after my mom told me my dream of being an author was a pipe dream (she’s since apologized for this and really regrets saying it if anything she’s my biggest supporter now) I did it because young me had this passion to create regardless of what others said or did. And you’re right I miss that I can remember stories I’m proud of but there so much I want to create the question has always genuinely been where do i begin. Thank you for the inspiration!

ooh! what final pixel size did you use for the illustration or how do you decide on it? do you ever do any resizing of the canvas resolution or how do you make sure it fits when you need to extend for the bleed but not want to sacrifice the quality of what you've already drawn? does it really matter what pixels size you use or is it more about the ratio? i'm... struggling with this lolol

This was actually so helpful. I ended up taking notes cause I really want to make something like this. I absolutely love crowded scenes so it's one of my goals! I think I've tried before but it wasn't as effective as something as stunning as this. Thank you so much for this man, will be trying it out in the future (maybe even for artfight lol)

I've attempted to draw more than a few cozy & crowded scenes but they always end up very lifeless,,,, so im really excited to see your process--

i played the penacony storyline when i was going through a really awful time mentally, and these characters helped me put myself back together (kinda odd considering how they are all very angsty and struggling a lot themselves haha). seeing them interact like this and be so cozy and happy is so nice, you can really feel the camaraderie in the piece. great art and informative video ☺
